The plane is in the air.
Left Kuwait at 1:20 AM Seattle time in route to who knows where.

Most likely scenario is Shannon Ireland, Bangor Maine, and then on to McCord AFB Washington.
Estimated time of arrival is 12:30 AM with the welcome home ceremony at 2:40 Am.
Just like the military to throw a party at a real convenient time.
But a party it will be.

ReplyDeleteEasy MMs, The party starts tomorrow morning, the 7th, at 2:30 AM Seattle time.
It is 3:45 PM here now, and I'm getting ready to go to bed so I can be bright eyed and bushy tailed, and at Fort Lewis by 12:30 AM. They are supposed to simulcast the plane landing at McCord AFB on a closed circuit television loop.
I don't know if I can sleep.
I'm like the little kids waiting to go to Disney Land.
I just re-read the post and find that in my excitement, I posted the times wrong.
ReplyDeleteIt was 1:20 PM yesterday that the flight left Kuwait bound for either Germany or Ireland, then either Bangor or Atlanta, and will arrive here tomorrow, the seventh, at 12:30 AM with the ceremony starting at 2:30 AM.
Hope there wasn't any errant dancing going on, but if there was, chalk it up to practice.
Just checking back to see if he's BOG. I think 12:30AM is about 3:30AM Ohio time but for sure I will be dreaming of a safe and happy landing. Who know maybe this ol' guy can stay up that late. I will be surprised if you can sleep. Oh man, we had one of our local guys get home on Tuesday and now Matt tonight this is just GREAT!!!
