AN ANSWER FOR MOM

Things are just marvelous in my neck of the woods.
The economy is in the toilet, with my 401k in it's pocket.
I'm busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest.
The war in Iraq is low on every bodies list because of the economy.
The morons that got us into this mess are trying to figure out how to get us out of it.
(Keep a good hold on your wallet).
My opinion, for what it's worth, is that the government should stop throwing money at this problem, and let it play it's self out.
This down turn, while exacerbated by the arrogance of ill intentioned bankers, and there sub prime mortgage scheme, is a righting of the markets.
It is way overdue.
Granted, it will be a painful process.
I liken it to an individual getting over extended on credit cards.
The credit councillor cuts the cards up, and makes a payment plan.
The individual suffers for a couple of years, but ends up better off in the end.

How about the arrogance of the AIG execs?

This is exactly what's wrong with the system.

I'm way to angry to continue this subject.
Just wait and see, this bail out is way from over.
Oh, and one question?
If the US is trillions of dollars in debt now, where is the money for the bail out going to come from?

One more question, then I'm done.
What is the next number after 999,999,999,999,999 trillion?
I know it's 1,000,000,000,000,000.
But I don't know what that is?
I've got a feeling we're going to find out soon.

So,
MOM, I'm just marvelous.
And you?

Please, click on MOM, and check out My Wonderful Life.

She's the greatest.

Now, if blogger will allow me, I will try to upload some pictures from the previous post in a format which can be enlarged.

Matt and his squad watching their replacements.

The different look on each of their faces tells a story.

Matt is third from left.
Note the head gear. I guess he does listen some of the time.
Must get that from his mother?

Matt on the side of route Barley.

He said he "hates route Barley". I guess they had a lot of trouble out there.

A little nap on the job.

Probably gets that from me.

Please remember to keep our soldiers in your thoughts daily. And if your so inclined, say a little prayer for their safety.
While they are someones sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, husbands
and wives, they are all of our soldiers.

That,we have in common.
May god bless.

  3. M&M I smiled when I saw your comment on the last post.

Dad, I'm just a little worried about our sox.
Two big bats, Ortiz and Elsbury are flat.
And Varitek can't hit a lick anyway.
I call him the designated out.
Maybe they should hit for him and let the pitchers hit.
    Could'nt hurt?
The first picture was after they had just pulled some bad and not so bad guys out of a house, and they were watching the replacements try to sort em out.
Matt said it was hard to believe that 15 months before they were as nieve.
    Thanks for stopping by.

  7. Hi Ms.
I'm well, K is doing good, and Matt is getting better.
During his medical evaluation, which they do on every soldier that was involved in explosions etc., they found he had a problem with a couple of discs in his back, a torn rotator cuff, and a partialy torn maniscus, (knee).
He's rehabing, and doing good. His attitude and outlook seem to be doing a lot better. He's looking forward to getting out, and getting on with his life.
    How is everyone there?
The kids getting exited about Halloween?
