The economy is in the toilet, with my 401k in it's pocket.
I'm busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest.
The war in Iraq is low on every bodies list because of the economy.
The morons that got us into this mess are trying to figure out how to get us out of it.
(Keep a good hold on your wallet).
My opinion, for what it's worth, is that the government should stop throwing money at this problem, and let it play it's self out.
This down turn, while exacerbated by the arrogance of ill intentioned bankers, and there sub prime mortgage scheme, is a righting of the markets.
It is way overdue.
Granted, it will be a painful process.
I liken it to an individual getting over extended on credit cards.
The credit councillor cuts the cards up, and makes a payment plan.
The individual suffers for a couple of years, but ends up better off in the end.
How about the arrogance of the AIG execs?
This is exactly what's wrong with the system.
I'm way to angry to continue this subject.
Just wait and see, this bail out is way from over.
Oh, and one question?
If the US is trillions of dollars in debt now, where is the money for the bail out going to come from?
One more question, then I'm done.
What is the next number after 999,999,999,999,999 trillion?
I know it's 1,000,000,000,000,000.
But I don't know what that is?
I've got a feeling we're going to find out soon.

The first picture was after they had just pulled some bad and not so bad guys out of a house, and they were watching the replacements try to sort em out.

ReplyDeleteI'm well, K is doing good, and Matt is getting better.
During his medical evaluation, which they do on every soldier that was involved in explosions etc., they found he had a problem with a couple of discs in his back, a torn rotator cuff, and a partialy torn maniscus, (knee).
He's rehabing, and doing good. His attitude and outlook seem to be doing a lot better. He's looking forward to getting out, and getting on with his life.
How is everyone there?
