Who'd a thunk it.
Yesterday I couldn't even spell it, and there I was doing it?
anyone sick of the Obama bashing yet?
I'm a moderate Republican, and I voted for him.
And while I must admit that I'm not totally impressed with some of the things that have happened since he's been in office I have to say that his willingness to be open with us is a refreshing change.
The very thought that, "we the people" can handle the truth of what is going on in our government is the very thing that has his opponents all in an up roar.
By his very actions he is dispelling the notion held by a majority of our elected officials that they are all so much more intelligent then us.
It was said that once he got to Washington the status quo would beat him into submission.
They would teach him that, "we the people" weren't capable of comprehending the issues that they the rulers deal with on a day to day basis.
I like knowing what's going on, and why they make the decisions they do.
and I could give a flying f&&# if he bows to an Arab or two.
Maybe if his predecessor had a modicum of diplomacy we wouldn't be in the mess we're in.
SPC Matt will be home for the weekend.
We're looking forward to seeing him.
Even if for only a day.
